पञ्चदशकलाहीनैश्चित्रायाः सप्तभिर्विशाखायाः । षट्सप्तत्या मैत्रस्यैन्द्रस्य त्रिंशता हीनैः ॥ ९ ॥

'That of Agni' — Brahmagupta's name for KṚTTIKĀ, whose divinity is Agni, in the yogatārā table; its polar latitude is reduced by 29 minutes. Cited together with Aindra (Jyeṣṭhā, reduced by 30') and Maitra (Anurādhā, by 76'). NAME-COLLISION WARNING: Āgneya here is Kṛttikā = η Tauri, NOT the separate fixed star Agni/Hutabhuj = β Tauri of Sūrya Siddhānta 8.20 already on file.
